Philosophy of Ministry

The Student Ministry of Christ Church seeks to assist parents in their responsibility of raising godly children. We firmly believe the Bible teaches that parents are the primary spiritual leaders in their children lives: everything we do supplements the spiritual instruction and example the children should already be receiving at home.

The foundation of the student ministry is to give God the glory He deserves (worship). By investing our lives in others (ministry), we aim to equip students with the Word of God (discipleship), unite them with the body of Christ (fellowship) and challenge them to reach unbelievers with His life changing truths (evangelism).

Word to the parents

Christ Church recognizes that parents are charged with the primary spiritual responsibility of rearing their children in a manner consistent with Holy Scripture. The student ministry of Christ Church exists to assist parents toward that goal. If we can encourage you in your own walk with God, equip you to pass on your trust in Christ to your children or motivate you to live out God’s principles more consistently in your own home, please do not hesitate to contact us. Parents are always welcome to attend Sunday morning Bible study or Student Fellowship (even unannounced) just to see what we are all about!

Several times a year we host a meeting just for parents. These meetings allow an opportunity to personally communicate our unique philosophy of ministry and how that philosophy not only guides what we do but also why we do it.

Occasionally electronic communications will be offered. Sign up here to receive emails and check the appropriate boxes.
